Space Athletics Federation’s Richard Donovan was recently elected to The Explorers Club.
The Explorers Club is a multidisciplinary, professional society dedicated to the advancement of field research, scientific exploration and resource conservation. The club was founded in New York City in 1904 and has served as a meeting point for explorers and scientists worldwide.
Its members have included the first person to the North Pole, first to the South Pole, first to the summit of Everest, first to the deepest point in the ocean, and first to the surface of the moon.
The club is headquartered on East 70th Street, New York City. and houses artifacts from the club’s century of exploration.
