It’s big-city marathon season and Sean Tobin has been named in the elite field for the upcoming London Marathon on April 21st 2024.
The Space Athletics Federation athlete goes into the race as the Antarctica continental record holder but has never run a conventional road marathon.
In addition to his endurance fortitude, he is certainly not lacking for speed: Sean is a sub 4-minute miler and former Irish national champion at 1500m, 5000m and cross-country. He most recently won the national 10k road title. See Irish Times.
